The Chairman, Africa Information Technology Consultancy (AITC), Prof Bashiru Aremu, has congratulated Prof. Mahfouz Adedimeji, Vice Chancellor of Africa School of Economics, Abuja, on being awarded the Chartered Fellowship Award by AITC.

Daily Independent learnt this from AITC Int’l Chairman, Prof Bashiru Aremu in a release on Sunday, September 7, 2025 made available to journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital by Aremu.

Arẹmu congratulated Adedimeji on AITC’s global Fellowship Award.

UNESCO Laureate’ stated that, the prestigious recognition is a testament to Prof. Adedimeji’s outstanding contributions to Economics Education and his efforts in promoting International Education.

In the release AITC International Chairman had stated: “Prof. Adedimeji is a renowned Professor of Pragmatics and Linguistics with a distinguished academic career. He has served as the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of Ahman Pategi University and has published over 120 papers in reputable outlets worldwide”.

“Adedimeji’s research focuses on Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, Applied English, and Peace Linguistics, and he has authored and co-authored several books. Africa Information Technology Consultancy is registered organization with the Federal Government of Nigeria, has recognized Prof. Adedimeji’s contributions to ICT and higher education”.

“AITC provides a wide range of services, including IT strategy development, digital transformation, and cybersecurity. As a Chartered Fellow, Prof. Adedimeji joins an esteemed group of professionals who have demonstrated exceptional expertise and dedication to the field of ICT”.

“I, UNESCO Laureate’ presented the Global Golden Award of Chartered Fellowship Certificate to Prof Mahfous Adedimeji at his office in Abuja. I hereby commend Adedimeji’s philosophy and efforts in utilizing ICT to advance higher education, highlighting his commitment to harnessing technology to drive progress in higher education”.

Aremu’s statement reads in parts: “The recognition of Prof. Adedimeji by AITC is a testament to his tireless efforts in promoting ICT in higher education. His leadership and vision have inspired countless individuals, and this honor is a fitting tribute to his dedication and expertise”.
