The Association of Professional Party Organizers and Event Managers of Nigeria (APPOEMN) will hold its “The Event Industry Conference (TEIC8.0)” from the 30th of October to the 6th of November 2025 at the Lekki Centre in Lekki, Lagos State.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday to announce the event, the president of the association, Ayiri Oladunmoye, said that the mission of the association is to promote professionalism, uphold ethical standards, and build capacity in Nigeria’s event ecosystem.
The president, who was represented by Mr. Babatunde Adewuyi, the vice president of the body, said its vision is to see a vibrant, respected, and globally competitive industry, one that is properly structured, well-regulated, and sustainable for the next generation of creatives.
He stated that TEIC is one of the most strategic platforms of the association to actualize its vision and those of its members.
The president stated that the event is not just a conference, saying that it is an agenda for transformation through the association “creates space for meaningful dialogue, learning, collaboration, and innovation – all aimed at raising the standard of event practice across Nigeria,” he added.
Ayiri Oladunmoye disclosed that the conference will feature masterclasses, exhibitions, and policy conversations designed to equip practitioners and connect the industry with corporate bodies, government stakeholders, and global partners.
He called on every event professional, brand, and policymaker to partner with APPOEMN in building a more structured, credible, and unified industry.
He described TEIC 2025 as more than an event; “it’s a movement driven by the power of creativity, collaboration, and culture,” he posited.
Babatunde Adewuyi called businesses that play in event industry in the country to register and attend the conference in order to network and gain strategic insights
Also speaking at the event, Oluwadara Ilesanmi, the chairperson for the CSR Planning Committee for TEIC 8.0, said that a business revival for people that play in the event industry will take place at the event.
According to her, the objective of the CSR project is to help players in industry to revive their businesses and equip them with strategies and tools they can use to thrive.
She said, “We understand that there are many people in the industry that need support in the areas of strategic thinking, customer service, health and safety.
“We want to ensure that their businesses are financially viable, sustainable and also productive.”
She disclosed there will be a pitch and the top three businesses will get a grant from the association.
Ilesanmi called on businesses that play in event space in Nigeria to register and participate in the pitch.
