Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has become the dominant party in Enugu State.
The statement was made on Sunday, during a rally organized in support of President Bola Tinubu by the women’s wing of the APC, Enugu State Chapter.
Addressing the gathering, Nnaji stated, “The leader and members of APC are now working to rebuild APC in the state.

“The party has now moved from zero to something big, and we are now the largest party in Enugu State.”
He urged women to remain steadfast in supporting the APC-led administration, adding, “President Tinubu has shown, through the Renewed Hope Agenda, that women are not on the margins but at the very centre of Nigeria’s transformation.
“This is why we must continue to support his vision and work to ensure its success in 2027 and beyond.”
The event, which saw thousands of women in attendance, also featured APC National Women Leader, Dr. Mary Alile-Idele, who praised President Tinubu’s commitment to empowering women.
She said, “From financial inclusion initiatives to targeted capacity building programmes, the Tinubu administration is laying a solid foundation for Nigerian women to thrive.”
Chief Emma Eneukwu, APC Deputy National Chairman, South, emphasized the importance of women in the political process.
He noted, “The women coming together to endorse President Tinubu’s second term is in tandem with what other members of the party are doing across the country.”
The Enugu State APC Chairman, Hon. Ugochukwu Agballah, highlighted the party’s resurgence in the state.
He stated, “Today APC Enugu has been re-engineered to become the very hub of political transformation and empowerment of the women and party members in Enugu State.”
The rally concluded with the inauguration of the APC Women Wing, Enugu State, reinforcing the party’s commitment to consolidating its gains ahead of the 2027 elections.
