APC FCT Gears Up For Victory In 2027

ABUJA – The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is charting a new course towards total dominance in the upcoming area council elections and the 2027 general elections, with renewed focus and determination to secure all six area councils.

Speaking at a crucial stakeholders’ meeting of the party in Abuja, the FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, reaffirmed the party’s commitment to unity and strategic planning.

She emphasized that the APC in FCT has identified its challenges and is actively addressing them to ensure stronger electoral success.

“I can see that APC in FCT is taking shape and becoming more focused on the way forward,” she said. “We have identified where our problems lie, and we are more united to overcome them. The result of our unity will manifest more in the area council elections and the general election come 2027.”

Dr. Mahmoud further noted that the creation of the Youth and Women Secretariat by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a strategic move to enhance political inclusion in the FCT, ensuring that young people and women play significant roles in governance and party activities.

The meeting also featured the FCT APC Chairman, Hon. Abdulmalik Usman, who praised party stakeholders for their unwavering commitment and tireless efforts in strengthening the party’s dominance in the FCT.

“The dedication of all members has continued to solidify APC’s position as the ruling party and the preferred choice of the people,” he stated. “Our collective resolve is key to sustaining the dominance of APC as the ruling party. We will continue to deliver dividends of democracy to our people and build a stronger, more prosperous nation.”
