The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has consistently assured Nigerians that the 2025 Anambra governor elections will be transparent, free, fair and credible.
Ahead of the 2025 governorship elections in Anambra state, one of the measures the electoral body has put in place to ensure the process is transparent is the introduction of the Election Result Viewing Portal (IReV Portal).

Results of the elections in the various polling units will be uploaded on the portal for everyone to see.
This will allow Nigerians to keep tabs on the results even before the final collation by INEC in Abuja.
Though the portal has been used in previous off-cycle governorship elections, it is the first time it will be deployed for a presidential election in Nigeria.

AnambraDecides2025: Has INEC Declared Winner?
The social media report that Governor Charles Soludo has been declared the winner of the ongoing Anambra elections is false.
Governor Soludo, who is seeking re-election, is contesting against 15 other governorship candidates.
X user, @Esteembehemoth, claimed that Governor Soludo has won a second term in office as governor of Anambra State. In a tweet shared on Saturday, November 8, 2025, the X user said it was an easy victory for Governor Soludo.
However, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the only body empowered by the constitution to declare the winner of an election in Nigeria, has yet to declare a winner for the 2025 Anambra governorship election.
