Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, says he is not worried about losing his job despite the team’s disappointing start to the Premier League season.

Speaking ahead of the Red Devils’ crucial clash with Sunderland on Saturday, Amorim dismissed suggestions that his tactical system was responsible for the club’s recent poor performances.

United head into the fixture following a 3-1 defeat to Brentford, which has left them 14th in the league after six matches.

Amorim, however, maintained that his main concern is failing to win games, not the threat of being sacked.

“The worst thing in this job is not winning games. That’s the same feeling I had when I was at Casa Pia in the third division,” Amorim said.

“Of course, it’s a dream to be here, and I want to continue and fight for this club. But what makes me suffer is losing matches, not losing my job.
You fear losing your job when you have to pay the bills and I don’t have that feeling.”
