Amorim Must Stop Starting Sesko From The Bench –Oliseh

Former Super Eagles midfielder Sunday Oliseh has questioned Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim’s decision to keep new signing Benjamin Sesko on the bench against Burnley.

Amorim’s handling of Sesko has also been a talking point this season. United paid big money to sign Sesko from RB Leipzig, but the striker has yet to start in a Premier League fixture.

He played the full 90 minutes in the Carabao Cup defeat to League Two Grimsby Town in midweek, when he was the final outfield player to take a penalty in the marathon shootout that United lost.

Reacting to the development via his X handle, Oliseh stated that the Portuguese tactician is taking a big risk putting Sesko on the bench.

“Unless Sesko has an underlying condition, I am still short of words why such an expensive investment by Manchester United starts the game on the bench! Something just ain’t right.”
