The Founder of the Grassroots Mobilisers for Better Nigeria Initiative, Amb. Dr Fatima Mohammed Goni, has led a celebratory tour in honour of Nafisa Abdullahi, a 17-year-old student from Yobe state who emerged victorious at the 2025 TeenEagle global finals in London.

A statement from the media directorate of GMBNI, said Goni, while congratulating Nafisa and her teammates, expressed deep respect for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for not only celebrating the winners but also empowering them with scholarships.

She described Atiku’s gesture as a mark of true leadership and an inspiration to the younger generation.

Goni reaffirmed her commitment to assisting less privileged and vulnerable children through her non-governmental organisation, regardless of tribe, religion, or ethnicity.
