Allegations of killings, persecution of Christians by Tinubu’s administration false -APC G3

A frontline All Progressives Congress support organisation,  APC Grassroots Governance Group (APC G3) has described allegations of killings and persecution of Christians in  Nigeria as false and misleading.

APC G3 also urged the international community to ignore the allegations, saying President Bola Tinubu is running an inclusive government that carries everyone along irrespective of religious affiliations.

The Group  in a press statement signed by its National Coordinator, Amechi Chuks Oyema on Tuesday, said Christians have benefitted immensely from the administration of despite the initial skepticism that followed the 2023 Presidential elections.

According to APC G3, majority of christians have now come to realise that the noise about muslim-muslim ticket was used by desperate opposition figures to cause confusion before the 2023 general elections.

The Support Group urged opposition politicians to desist from dividing Nigeria along religious line in their desperation to remove a performing government.

According to APC G3 “We strongly condemn the failed attempt by desperate politicians to link the Tinubu administration with persecution of christians.

“Unlike some of his opponents, President Bola Tinubu did not impose his religion even in his household.

“Let it be said here, more Christians have not only commended President Tinubu for being neutral, but are ready to support, campaign and vote for him in the 2027 General elections.

“Obviously, those who made noise about the muslim-muslim ticket and put fear in the Christian community are confused that President Tinubu disappointed them.

“We in APC G3 boldly say that Christians have benefitted immensely from this administration, even when they doubted him in 2023.

“In 2027, more Christians are going to support, campaign and vote for President Bola Tinubu because he has shown that he is for all irrespective of religion.”
