Super Eagles striker Akor Adams says he is living out a dream after marking his first senior appearance for Nigeria with a goal in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Sevilla forward came off the bench in the 63rd minute against Lesotho to replace Tolu Arokodare and announced his arrival with a cool finish 17 minutes later, connecting perfectly with a smart pass from Victor Osimhen.

After the match, Adams shared an emotional message on Instagram, reflecting on his journey and the role Osimhen played during a low point in his career.

“Some life scripts are handwritten by God himself! Thank you @victorosimhen9. I am living a dream!!!” he wrote, recalling how Osimhen supported him while he was struggling for form at Norwegian club Sogndal shortly after the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

He shared a private message he sent to Osimhen soliciting his advice and the motivating response he got from the former Napoli striker.
