Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government in Lagos State has allegedly kickstarted a move to rename several streets named after non-indigenes of the state. The renaming list includes streets like Imo Eze Street, which is now Layiwola Oluwa, and George Street, which has been changed to Daddy Showkey. Other renamed streets honour figures such as Yeye Iretiola and Ayoola Fatai.
