Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has disclosed that his administration will deploy performance-measuring techniques to assess the level of accountability and efficiency of members of his cabinet.
The governor, who vowed that his administration would have zero tolerance for corruption, indolence, and disloyalty, stated that he is in a hurry to deliver on the mandate given to him by the people of the state.
While reaffirming his administration’s commitment to rapid and effective governance, Aiyedatiwa emphasised that his focus will be on speed and accuracy in governance.
Aiyedatiwa stated this on Thursday during the swearing-in ceremony of newly appointed and reappointed members of the State Executive Council.
The governor, who charged the cabinet members to immediately settle into their roles and deliver tangible results, stressed that they must align with the administration’s seven-point developmental agenda, tagged ‘Our Ease’, which he said was designed to accelerate the state’s growth and development.
The new appointees inaugurated include Dr Taiwo Fasoranti as Secretary to the State Government, Olukayode Ajulo, SAN, as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mrs Omowumi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance, and Johnson Alabi as Special Adviser on Power.
Others include Seun Osamaye as Special Adviser on Women’s Affairs, Comrade Bola Taiwo as Special Adviser on Union Matters and Special Duties, Prof. Simidele Odimayo as Special Adviser on Health, and Abiola Olawoye as Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing.
