Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has opened up about her harrowing experience with cancer and how her faith played a key role in her recovery.
In a conversation with Oyinmomo TV, posted on YouTube, Temitope revealed that she was initially diagnosed with cancer and informed that further tests were needed to determine how far it had progressed.
Doctors also warned her that the medications required could affect her ability to conceive, meaning she might not be able to have children for the next five years.

“I was told I had cancer and that further tests would be carried out to check how far it had spread. The doctors also said I wouldn’t be able to conceive for the next 5 years because of the medications I’d have to take, as they could affect the baby. Hearing that at 38 years old was devastating. I couldn’t imagine waiting that long,” she said.
“But I rejected the report and held on to my faith in God. I began the journey with prayer and fasting, combining both the medical and the spiritual. When I did a CT scan, it came out negative; the cancer hadn’t spread. Eventually, they performed a second surgery to remove the remaining tumour,” Temitope added.
