Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has made an appeal to Grammy-winning superstar Burna Boy, asking for a music collaboration instead of monetary support.
Information Nigeria had reported on Tuesday that Portable accused some self-styled middlemen of preventing him from getting a verse from Burna Boy.
The singer said the issue began after he declined to share part of the ₦20 million Burna Boy gifted him for defeating Speed Darlington in a celebrity boxing match.

In another video on Tuesday, Portable lamented that the money had already been spent and stressed that a feature with Burna Boy would be more valuable to his career than cash.
He confidently declared that a joint track with the African Giant would likely win them a Grammy award.
“Burna Boy gave me N20m, he get levels, normal normal on Apple Music he get level. Give me featuring, please tell Burna Boy to drop featuring. He dropped N20m but it has finished, I prefer that featuring. Help my life now, all my fans are asking for featuring. Feature me, we will win Grammy, it’s Mr Nigeria that’s talking now,” Portable pleaded.
Taking a swipe at Davido, whom he accused of refusing to collaborate with him, Portable argued that Burna Boy is on a higher pedestal.
“Davido refused to feature me. Burna Boy drop featuring, you’re bigger than Davido. Burna is the only one I respect,” he added.
