

The African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (AfCHPR) will on Thursday deliver two decisions on the 4th December 2025 during its 79th Ordinary Session at the Seat of the Court in Arusha, United Republic of Tanzania.
The delivery of judgments, according to a statement made available to Blueprint in Abuja frpm the court will start from 10:30 AM (East African Time).
The decisions will be delivered in Application 006/2012, African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights vs Republic of Kenya (The Ogiek case)
Another one is Application 061/2019, Elyssa vs Republic of Tunisia.
“The delivery of judgments will follow a hybrid format, enabling participation either in-person or virtually,” the statement said.
The AfCHPR is an organ of the African Union Member States, established to ensure the protection of human and peoples’ rights in Africa.
The Court complements and reinforces the functions of the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.
