ADVAN CMO Forum: Nigeria’s top marketing leaders to converge on Lagos



The Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) has concluded plans to host the 2025 edition of its CMO Forum, an exclusive gathering of the nation’s foremost marketing leaders.

This year’s forum, themed “Growth, Governance and G-AI: The New Trinity for the Nigerian CMO”, is scheduled for August 28, 2025, at the Radisson Blu, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event which will bring together over 100 CEOs and C-suite marketing executives will provide a platform for networking, sharing insights, and addressing the challenges and opportunities that artificial intelligence presents to business leadership.

According to the organisers in a statement, the 2025 edition aims to spark dynamic conversations at the crossroads of technology, governance, and leadership, with strategic partnership engagements expected with the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria, the Institute of Directors (IoD), and leading AI organizations.

The Keynote Address will be delivered by Olufemi Sunday Williams, former Group Managing Director of Chams PLC and Founder/Chief Enabling Officer of Newwaves Ecosystem Ltd. Williams will bring his wealth of experience in leadership, governance, and digital innovation to set the tone for the Forum’s critical conversations.

A panel session will follow, featuring some of Nigeria’s most respected business leaders. Alfred Okugbeni, Founder and Managing Director of Nigerian Sinotrucks Ltd; David Okeme, CEO of Up Digital Limited; and Stanislaus Martins, President of the Association of Digital Marketing Professionals of Nigeria, will share their perspectives on the evolving role of the Chief Marketing Officer in an era defined by AI, governance imperatives, and sustainable growth.
