Adamawa State College Of Agriculture Gets ₦460 Million Boost For Accreditation

The Adamawa State Government has approved ₦460 million for the Adamawa State College of Agriculture, Science and Technology (COAST), Ganye, to support the accreditation of nine academic programs. This funding reflects Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s commitment to strengthening tertiary education and promoting agricultural innovation in the state.

The funds will help the College meet National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) requirements, upgrade facilities such as laboratories and classrooms, and enhance teaching, learning, and research quality. The intervention aims to ensure that graduates are nationally competitive and capable of driving agricultural and technological advancement.

This initiative positions COAST Ganye as a leading agricultural institution in Northern Nigeria and aligns with the state’s broader goals of human capital development, modernized agriculture, and youth empowerment through technical education.
