The Adamawa State Local Government Election Petitions Tribunal has received 9 petitions challenging the predetermination of immoderate chairmen during caller polls successful the assembly areas.

The 9 petitioners who were mostly candidates of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, are challenging the predetermination of immoderate of the recently inaugurated chairmen.

All the chairmen for the 21 section authorities councils successful the state, declared elected aft the July 13 assembly poll, are of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Those who filed petitions see Mohammed Jalo, Mustapha Yusuf, Abraham Innocent, Ja’afaru Umar, Khalled Yaro and Zacharia Adamu Umar, each ADC Candidates for Gombi, Song, Girei, Maiha, Mubi North and Jada LGAs.

Others are Muhammed Lawan Bello and Shehu Inuwa, besides from ADC and arsenic chairmanship candidates for Fufore and Yola North LGAs respectively.

There is besides Gamaliel Gandume of the Labour Party.

Gamaliel is challenging the candidacy of Kassa Dangi Shallom of the PDP who was declared arsenic president of Guyuk LGA but whom Gamaliel accuses of forging his schoolhouse certificate.
