Phyna, the Season 7 winner of Big Brother Naija, has requested that her sister, Ruth Otabor, be flown to India for medical treatment.
In a video that surfaced online on Sunday, Phyna was seen at the hospital reception where her sister is receiving treatment, accompanied by several individuals identified as members of the Dangote Group management.
The accident, which took place on August 13, 2025, near Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State, left Ruth with serious injuries that led to the amputation of her leg. The tragedy occurred just six days after her graduation from the institution.

In the video, Phyna expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of medical care her sister was receiving, stating that she wanted Ruth to be treated abroad.
“I am putting my sister as Dangote’s child, because if not, Dangote will not bring his child here; they will fly them abroad,” she said.
When one of the men present disagreed with her, she stood firm on her decision.
“Dangote will not bring his child here,” she reiterated.
When asked if she planned to take her sister abroad, Phyna confirmed that she did and revealed her preferred destination.
“Yes… India,” she replied.
