Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Monday.
Also present at the meeting was the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.
The Taraba Governor recently dumped the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the APC.

However, a grand rally that was being put together to welcome him was cancelled amid spike in insecurity.
The event had coincided with the abduction of students in Kebbi and a church in Kwara State.
Yilwatda and Kefas arrived at the Presidential Villa at about 2:30pm.
The meeting between the President, the Northern Governor and the APC National Chairman was held in a closed-door session, even as the outcome was yet to be made public.
Daily Trust learnt the discussions might be centered on getting a new favorable date when the governor and his supporters would be received into the party.
