In a statement released on Sunday, Omokri thanked God and President Tinubu for the appointment, describing it as an opportunity to serve Nigeria and humanity.

He praised the President’s “visionary and exemplary leadership,” saying Tinubu had personally taught him the meaning of forgiveness and patriotism, adding that the President demonstrates “Christlikeness” and is “the right man, at the right time, for the right job.”

Omokri also extended appreciation to his parents, National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu, whom he described as embodying “all the goodness on Earth” and his wife Hana, whom he thanked for standing by him during the past three years when, he said, “enemies of the President made me their foe” because of his vocal support for Tinubu.
