NCPC boss lauded over  hitch-free pilgrimage operations 



The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has been commended for smooth operations of pilgrimage to holy lands since he assumed office.

This was disclosed by a not-for-profit organisation known as Citizens Media and Development Network (CIMEDEN), in a media chat Tuesday in Abuja.

‎The Partnership Lead of CIMEDEN, Mr. Gabriel Ekainu, and Project Adviser, Mr. Ebe Yohanna-Ebe, said Adegbite has restored pilgrims’ confidence in the commission through “seamless and hitch-free travels to the Holy Sites globally.”

‎Ekainu said: “The commitment of the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, in the smooth airlift operations, welfare of and logistics for pilgrims to the Holy sites are proofs of patriotic dedication, efficient administrative and spiritual leadership.

“Since Bishop Adegbite assumed office, the commission under him has consistently demonstrated satisfactory service delivery to all at home and abroad.”

‎ Yohanna-Ebe also said: , “The Executive Secretary, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has been utilising every support he received from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, in ensuring that the Renewed Hope Agenda component for the Christian community in Nigeria is vigorously implemented through the commission.”

‎Yohanna-Ebe stated further that the NCPC’s boss “is a staunch defender of the Christian faith as a strong man of faith and character, and a good shepherd.”
