Global technology leader TCL, in partnership with SIMS Smart Tech, the after-sales service unit of SIMS Nigeria Limited, has continued its mission to strengthen Nigeria’s HVAC landscape through the TCL–SIMS Smart Tech AC Installers Training, a nationwide initiative designed to equip installers with the knowledge and skills needed to support TCL’s fast-growing air-conditioning portfolio.

The inaugural training held in Kano brought together aspiring and professional AC technicians from across the region. Participants received hands-on instruction on TCL AC technology, covering installation standards, servicing methods, and long-term maintenance practices.

Facilitated by TCL-certified experts, the training deepened participants’ understanding of TCL’s innovation-driven cooling systems, including their energy efficiency, durability, and engineering excellence.

SIMS Smart Tech noted that the Kano edition marked a vital step in strengthening dealer confidence and enhancing consumer trust.

Building on the momentum from the North, the second edition of the training held in Abuja, attracting technicians from across the FCT and its surrounding areas.

The Abuja programme offered deep insight into TCL’s advanced AC systems and practical troubleshooting frameworks, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to high-quality, reliable cooling solutions.

The next phase of the TCL–SIMS Smart Tech AC Installers Training will take place in Lagos on Wednesday, November 26, bringing the initiative to Nigeria’s commercial hub.
