Paul Onuachu was on target for Trabzonspor in their 4-3 win against Istanbul Basaksehir in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday.
It was Onuachu’s ninth goal in 12 appearances in the Turkish topflight this campaign.
Onuachu scored with 14 minutes left to bring the scoreline to 2-2.
The win took Trabzonspor up to third place on 28 points and just four points behind league leaders Galatasaray.

Onuachu was not invited for the Super Eagles’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoffs in Morocco.
The Super Eagles lost to Democratic Republic of Congo 4-3 on penalties after 90 minutes and extra-time ended 1-1 in the final.
To get to the final the Super Eagles thrashed Gabon 4-1 after extra-time in the semi-final.
Onuachu could get a recall to the team for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
He was a member of the squad that finished second at the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.
