Sadio Mane launches major development projects in hometown

Senegalese footballer Sadio Mane is funding large-scale development projects in Bambali, his hometown in the Sédhiou region of Senegal.

According to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Mané is rebuilding key infrastructure in the community. The projects include a fully equipped hospital, a modern school, 4G internet service, a post office, a petrol station, and a stadium.

Mane is personally financing all the facilities as part of his long-running commitment to improving living conditions in Bambali.

Reports also indicated that the Al Nassr forward is giving each resident a monthly allowance of €70 (45,916 FCFA), a gesture considered rare in African sports philanthropy.

Romano said Mane has “turned his success into hope for thousands.”

Mane has previously funded several projects in Bambali, including road construction and educational support. The new developments further expand his efforts to improve the community.
