Heartland Technical Manager Welcomes Dutch Consultant to Nazi Millionaires Project
Heartland Technical Manager, Emmanuel Amuneke, has confirmed the arrival of Dutch consultant, Tom Sanders, for a strategic partnership with the Nigeria National League (NNL) club, Completesports.com reports.

Sanders, a FIFA-licensed agent, joins the club as part of a deal aimed at rebuilding Heartland’s technical capacity, commercial value, and long-term competitiveness.
Amuneke Highlights Vision Behind Partnership
Amuneke, a former Nigeria international and the 1994 African Footballer of the Year, said the agreement is designed to strengthen the professional status of the former CAF Champions League finalists.

The former Zamalek and FC Barcelona winger added that Sanders will thoroughly assess the young talents within the squad and determine the best pathways to expose them to the global football market.
Amuneke Outlines Sanders’ Role in Talent Development
According to Amuneke, Sanders will also liaise between Heartland and clubs in Europe.
“Heartland has a large pool of young talents. A club that played in the 2009 CAF Champions League is by all means no small club. It has the potential to match the quality and values of Zamalek, Al Ahly, amongst others,” Amuneke, a former Tanzania national team coach, said in Owerri.
“Sanders will play a vital role in this regard. If he sees any young player among our players with ‘special’ talents and says this is good for this or that club in Europe, that would be nice.”
Sanders, a FIFA-licensed player agent, will also serve as a consultant for the five-time Nigerian champions.
Partnership Marks New Phase in Heartland’s Revival — Amuneke
The partnership was unveiled during a media briefing in Owerri, where Amuneke described the development as a “turning point” in Heartland’s quest for revival.
“This collaboration aligns perfectly with our long-term vision of restoring Heartland FC to its rightful place among Africa’s elite football institutions,” Amuneke reiterated.
“Tom Sanders has a wealth of experience, and I consider it very important for a club like Heartland to grow.
“This is a team that played in the 2009 CAF Champions League final. It should be competing with clubs like Al Ahly and Zamalek. Even though we have faced internal challenges, many of them are being gradually resolved.”
