Zinoleesky addresses rumoured exit from Naira Marley’s Marlian Records

Zinoleesky, the Nigerian singer, has quelled rumours that he
has left Marlian Records, firmly stating his continued allegiance to the label.

The speculation began on Saturday when the ‘Celine Dion’
hitmaker posted — and later deleted — a message on his Instagram story that
hinted at grievances with his management.

“I am standing up not just for myself but for every artist
who’s ever felt powerless or taken advantage of. We deserve better. We deserve
transparency, fairness and respect,” the post read.

The statement quickly ignited online discussions, with fans
and commentators questioning if it signaled a fallout with his record label,
founded by rapper Naira Marley.

However, the singer, whose real name is Oniyinde Azeez,
swiftly clarified the situation.

In a follow-up post on his Instagram story, he dismissed the
breakup claims, writing, “NM for life… Make una Dey whine una sef” — a pidgin
English phrase telling people to not take the rumors seriously.

“Marlian Forever,” he added on X.

Zinoleesky has been a prominent figure in the Nigerian music
scene since signing with Marlian Records in 2020.

His career quickly gained momentum with the release of his
debut EP, ‘Chrome Eccentric,’ that same year.

His discography has since expanded to include the
well-received project ‘Grit & Lust’ (2022) — which featured collaborations
with Omah Lay and Ayra Starr — and his debut studio album, ‘Gen Z,’ released in
April of this year.
