Persons and communities affected by flood disasters in Idanre / Ifedore Federal Constituency of Ondo State have received relief materials from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Ado-Ekiti Operations Office.

The distribution was done in collaboration with the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and Honourable Akingbaso, who represents idanre / Ifedore Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.

In his remarks at the event ,the Director General of NEMA, Mrs Zubaida Umar, sympathized with the affected persons.

He reassured them of the Agency’s commitment to its mandate in providing timely and effective disaster response.

The relief materials distributed include rice, spaghetti, vegetable oil, seasoning cube, and tomato paste. Others were iodized salt, wax print, Guinea brocade, children wear, and blanket.

Honourable Akingbaso Festus, represented by his personal assistant Mr Seyi, expressed deep appreciation to the Federal Government and NEMA DG, Mrs Zubaida Umar, for the timely intervention.

Mrs Temitope, on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the NEMA DG Mrs Zubaida Umar for the items given to them.
