Sokoto, Sokoto state – Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been moved from the Department of State Services (DSS) in Abuja to the correctional facility in Sokoto state.
This is according to his lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, in a statement on Friday, November 21.
The Cable also noted the development.
Ejimakor wrote on his verified X account:
“Breaking: MAZI NNAMDI KANU has just been moved from DSS Abuja to the correctional facility (prison) in Sokoto; so far away from his lawyers, family, loved ones and wellwishers.”
