Lt-Gen Shu’aibu landed at the Headquarters of the Joint Task Force, Operation Fansa Yamma, where he was warmly received by senior commanders and accorded full military honours with a ceremonial guard of honour.

The Army Chief is accompanied by a high-powered delegation that includes principal staff officers from Army Headquarters as well as representatives of the Chief of Naval Staff and the Chief of the Air Staff.

The visit is part of the COAS’s ongoing nationwide tour to assess troops’ morale, operational readiness, and the progress of ongoing counter-terrorism and anti-banditry campaigns.
