Google, a leading search engine, has unveiled Gemini 3, the latest version of its AI Chatbot. The new update is described as the most intelligent model yet, which combines all of Gemini’s capabilities.
In an email seen by Technext, Google explained that Gemini 3 is state-of-the-art in reasoning and built to grasp depth with its creativity and problem-solving ability. It noted that Gemini 3 is designed to figure out the intent behind a user’s request in order to get what users need with less prompting.
Gemini, which launched nearly two years ago into the AI Chatbot world, has seen increased competition from OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Zuckerberg’s Meta AI and China’s DeepSeek. Amid this, Gemini has been significant, with 2 billion users every month, while the Gemini app also surpassed 650 million users per month, according to Google.
Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai noted that the latest model is advancing the state of the art and aims to help users bring any idea to life.
“Like the generations before it, Gemini 3 is once again advancing the state of the art. In this new chapter, we’ll continue to push the frontiers of intelligence, agents, and personalisation to make AI truly helpful for everyone,” he said in the email.
The Alphabet-owned company said Gemini 3 is its attempt to make artificial intelligence ‘truly’ useful for everyone. While people are looking for powerful tools to help simplify their daily activities, Google said Gemini 3 is its response to users’ requests for a capable AI model.
As part of the new model, the company is also releasing Gemini 3 Pro, which has multimodal capabilities and outperforms 2.5 in every major AI benchmark. Google said the model demonstrates PhD-level reasoning and sets a new standard for frontier models in mathematics.
In addition, Gemini 3 Pro responses are designed to be of quality, smart and direct. Google explained that the feature allows developers to bring an idea to life with natural language and get things done with less prompting.
“Gemini 3 Pro tells you what you need to heat, not just what you want to hear. It acts as a true thought partner that gives you new ways to understand information and express yourself, said Demis Hassanis,” said Demis Hassabis, CEO of Google DeepMind.
The company said Gemini 3 Pro will be available globally starting today in the Gemini app. It can also be accessed by Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in AI Mode in Search.

Gemini 3 in Google search
In addition to the launch, Google said the latest model will be integrated into Google Search starting today.
The integration, which is the first time the company will bring a Gemini model to Search on day one, helps to uncover more research. It also brings a tool that finds new content that might have been missed in the previous models.
“Gemini 3 analyses your question and creates the most helpful layouts like images, tables and grids, so that the final output isn’t just informative, but clear and actionable,” it noted.
Aside from the model’s integration to Search, there’s also the Google Antigravity platform that transforms AI from a simple coding assistant into an active partner. It’s a tool that plans and executes complex software tasks such as building features and fixing bugs.
