Former England and Manchester United star, Wayne Rooney, has said that Jack Grealish cannot force his way into Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad.
This was after the former Three Lions’ star watched England’s 2-0 victory over Serbia.
Two Nigerian’s born Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka scored one each to secure the victory for the Three Lions at Wembley on Thursday evening.
Grealish has not featured in an England shirt since Tuchel’s arrival despite finding a new lease of life this season on loan at Everton.
Rooney believes that time may already be up for Grealish.
“Jack Grealish may as well book his holiday for the summer now because he’s not getting in the squad,” Rooney said on The Wayne Rooney Show.
“You think Andy Gordon dropped out and he still doesn’t get called into it, so I think Thomas Tuchel is quite set.
“I think this international break was the perfect opportunity just to say to Harry Kane, ‘Go and have a week’s holiday’. He doesn’t need to be ther,” Rooney added.
