Fintellia has launched a banking platform Udara360, built for microfinance institutions, following a showcase at the just concluded Microfinance @20 Conference in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom state.
During the conference, Fintellia was honoured with an Award of Excellence from the National Association of Microfinance Banks,
Speaking at the conference, the Chief Executive Officer of Fintellia, Mr Samuel Ukpong, said it was time for next generation banking in Nigeria powered by a strong technology backbone.
“Udara360 isn’t just another core banking platform. It’s the evolution of banking infrastructure, built for speed, built for scale, built for Africa, ” he said.
He said what makes Udara360 different is that it is built from the ground up for the realities and ambitions of African financial institutions.
According to him, Udara360 delivers three foundational capabilities the industry has been asking for: Operational excellence that furnishes institutions transaction speed, fast support, automated workflows, and transaction success rates; Zero-downtime architecture that supports always-on operations, even during upgrades or heavy demand and Plug-and-play integration.
He added that it has free APIs that allows institutions to connect channels and third party applications faster, with less complexity.
Conversations with bank leaders, regulators, and technology partners at Microfinance @20 were unanimous.
“This is what the next decade of banking should be,” they said.
He added that the Award of Excellence is a clear signal that the sector is ready to embrace modern infrastructure that accelerates growth, deepens financial inclusion, and elevates customer experience.
“Nigeria’s microfinance ecosystem is scaling rapidly, and institutions are demanding platforms that match their ambitions; from reliable systems and everyday transactions to strong vendor support,” he said.
“Banks don’t just need software; they need infrastructure they can trust,” Mr Samuel added.
“Udara360 gives forward-thinking institutions the confidence to scale without sacrificing reliability or speed.”
