Italy World Cup winner Luca Toni has rated Inter Milan’s Marcus Thuram as the best striker in Serie A.
In a chat with Aura Sport, Toni stated that the France international is a complete player.
“For me, the best is Marcus Thuram.
“I like Lautaro’s anger and charisma; he’s a true leader. But as an individual player, I prefer Thuram because he’s completed his development: he’s become strong in the box, he scores headers, and he moves like a true centre-forward.

“This year, he’s made the definitive leap. In any case, Inter have the two best strikers in the league.”
On Inter’s chances this season, Toni also said: “It will depend a lot on what happens in the Champions League. For me, the only team that can leave a gap is Inter, but if they advance in Europe, it will be tough to maintain the same intensity in the league.
“What chances do Roma have? It depends on the Nerazzurri: if they lose something, Roma could be a nuisance because with Gasperini on the bench, everyone will be at 2000. We’ll see what happens in January.”
