Galatasaray set €150 million price tag on Victor Osimhen amid Chelsea interest

Galatasaray have reportedly placed an eye-watering €150 million valuation on Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, following growing transfer speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea and other European giants.

Just months after his €75 million transfer from Napoli, the most expensive deal in Turkish football history, Osimhen’s performances have prompted Galatasaray to double down on their investment.

According to Turkish-Football, the club will demand at least €150 million for any potential transfer this season.

The 26-year-old has been in explosive form, scoring nine goals in 12 appearances so far this campaign.

His dominance has been particularly evident in the UEFA Champions League, where he has netted six times in just three matches, driving Galatasaray to their best European start in 13 years.

Club President addresses rumours

Speaking at an awards event in Istanbul, Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek declined to confirm the exact figure but acknowledged Osimhen’s immense value to Turkish football.

“Osimhen is one of the most valuable footballers in Türkiye,” Özbek said. “I don’t want to comment on numbers, but everyone agrees he is the league’s most valuable player.”

European heavyweights circling

Osimhen’s performances have reignited interest from several elite clubs, with Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and Barcelona all reportedly monitoring his situation.

His rapid rise has also caught UEFA’s attention, with reports suggesting the governing body is preparing a documentary on the striker, now the highest-scoring Nigerian in European competitions.

As the January transfer window approaches, Galatasaray appear determined to resist any bids below their €150 million valuation, a statement that reinforces Osimhen’s standing among football’s most coveted forwards.
