Orah Bayit foundation to mark 2-year of “raising champions”

Orah Bayit Foundation has rolled out plans to celebrate the second anniversary of its flagship initiative, “Play&Excel,” with the theme “From Play to Purpose: Two Years of Raising Champions.”

The foundation’s founder, Grace Adams, in a statement made available to Blueprint said since its launch in 2023, the Play&Excel program has empowered children through structured play, teamwork, and creative learning, helping them build confidence, discipline, and a sense of purpose.

The initiative, according to her, continues to nurture children into future leaders by blending physical education, mentorship, and moral development.

“The anniversary celebration will be held at the Standard Foundation Sports Complex, Busa Close, Gwari Avenue, Barnawa, Kaduna, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

“The event will feature an impact documentary premiere showcasing two years of transformation stories, sports and play exhibitions, where children demonstrate teamwork and skill, motivational talks, awards, and the champion’s pledge, affirming the foundation’s vision to shape tomorrow’s leaders, a fun quiz and recognition segment to celebrate children’s learning and growth.

Speaking further, Grace Adams, said the organization started as a small weekend idea, “two years later, we’re seeing children who believe in themselves, communicate better, and lead with empathy.

“This anniversary is not just a celebration, it’s a reminder that every child can be a champion when given the chance to play, learn, and excel.”

“The foundation invited partners, volunteers, parents, and media organizations” to join this memorable day of reflection, celebration, and renewed commitment to child development.”
