The Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Policy Communication, Sunday Dare, stated this on Tuesday in a post shared on 𝕏, where he commended the President’s focus on peacebuilding, collaboration and harmony.
Dare said the country is fortunate to have a President with the determination and experience to lead the fight against terrorism and insecurity.

The office of the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has accused former Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo, of using soldiers to intimidate civilians over the development of a land for which he has no title document.
This was made known by the media aide to the FCT Minister, Lere Olayinka, in a statement on Tuesday.
According to Olayinka, Gambo was ordered to stop building on the land because he has no approved papers, but instead of complying, he deployed soldiers to attack officials of the FCTA Department of Development Control.
Olayinka added that Wike visited the site to enforce the stoppage order after speaking with the Chief of Defence Staff on the phone.
Speaking to newsmen at the site, Wike insisted that Gambo is carrying out an illegal development as he has no document that shows approval.
He accused the former Chief of Naval Staff of attempting to intimidate people with soldiers, but Wike insisted that he couldn’t be intimidated and he would not allow the illegal development of the land to continue.
The Minister added that he has spoken to the Chief of Defence Staff and the Chief of Naval Staff on how to resolve the issue.
As earlier reported by Naija News, a heated confrontation broke out on Tuesday in Abuja after soldiers prevented Wike and his entourage from accessing a parcel of land in the Gaduwa district.
The 2023 presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Adewole Adebayo, has urged Nigerians to applaud President Donald Trump’s interest in Nigeria’s affairs.
He stated this on Tuesday at the National Electoral Reforms Summit in Abuja.
Adebayo advised President Bola Tinubu to use bullets on terrorists tormenting Nigerians or resign.

Kalu stressed that attempts to impeach Akpabio will not be allowed.
Speaking about the state of the economy, Kalu acknowledged the ongoing hardship but maintained that macroeconomic indicators are improving.

Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi, has revealed that a planned U.S.-assisted operation to rescue the Chibok schoolgirls in 2014 was called off due to suspected leaks within the Nigerian military.
Speaking in an interview on Arise TV on Tuesday, Akinyemi explained how the operation, initiated by the Jonathan administration, was a joint effort between American forces and Nigerian troops.
According to Akinyemi, the plan was to rescue the abducted girls after Boko Haram militants had taken them from their school in Chibok, Borno State, on April 14, 2014.
However, the mission was abruptly aborted after a reconnaissance aircraft discovered that Boko Haram fighters at the camp were wearing masks. Akinyemi explained that the presence of masked militants was a clear sign that the plan had been leaked to the insurgents.
Akinyemi noted that the Americans decided to pull out of the operation, as they were unwilling to risk their troops’ safety under such compromised circumstances.
A Nigerian cleric, Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, has declared his full support for United States intervention in what he described as the ongoing “Christian genocide” in Northern Nigeria.
Speaking in an interview with News Central TV, Rev Dachomo accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration and government officials of complicity in the killings.
He alleged that members of the Boko Haram insurgent group who claimed to have repented were being absorbed into Nigeria’s security agencies.
Dachomo expressed confidence in his sources, saying, “I have insiders who give me information. I’m over 100% in support of President Donald Trump’s intervention because Nigeria government; their hands are tied.”
He vowed to take the Nigerian government to the International Criminal Court (ICC) over the alleged killings.
Nigerian comedian Destalker has shared how his journey into comedy began after he failed to succeed at internet fraud.
Naija News reports that he spoke about his early struggles during an interview on the In-house Gist podcast, where he recounted trying his hands on online fraud while still living in Enugu.
According to him, a close friend introduced him to the act, but he could not go through with it because of his soft nature.
The same friend, he said, is now a Christian cleric.
Destalker revealed that he and his friend used to spend nights at cybercafés, paying for long browsing sessions in an attempt to make money through online scams.
However, while his partner focused on tricking people, he would rather chat with family and old schoolmates until he fell asleep.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles and their technical staff have boycotted training in Rabat, Morocco, on Tuesday, citing unresolved bonus payments and allowances dating back to 2019.
Naija News reports that the move has raised concerns ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup Africa play-off semi-final against Gabon.
The squad, alongside officials, withheld their participation in training as a protest against the non-payment of outstanding bonuses, including for their achievements in reaching the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and qualifying for the World Cup play-offs.
BBC Sports journalist, Oluwashina Okeleji, reported that the players and staff are “awaiting a quick resolution to continue preparation for Thursday’s game.”
Okeleji further revealed on 𝕏 that none of the Super Eagles players had received their allocated bonuses, describing the situation as one of frustration, with players “tired of empty promises.”
A statement, reportedly signed by the squad and technical crew, read in part: “The full squad, including officials, withheld from training today in Morocco because of unresolved issues with outstanding payments.
Turkish football has been plunged into chaos after more than a thousand players were suspended over alleged involvement in a widespread betting scandal.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced that 1,024 players across the country’s professional leagues have been sanctioned pending investigation. Among them are 27 players from the top flight, all of whom have been referred to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK).
The fallout has been immediate. Matches in the third and fourth divisions have been put on hold for two weeks, while fixtures in the Super Lig and First Division will continue as planned.
In response to the crisis, the TFF has written to FIFA requesting an extra 15 days beyond the winter transfer window to allow clubs to cope with depleted squads. FIFA has yet to comment on the request.
Besiktas, one of Turkey’s most successful clubs, confirmed that two of their players were among those referred to the disciplinary panel. “We have full faith in the innocence of our players,” the club said in a statement on Monday.
The scandal has deepened further, with Turkish authorities arresting eight individuals, including a club chairman, as part of their widening investigation. Reports from local media suggest that prosecutors are now looking into possible links to match-fixing and organized betting networks.
