Nigeria’s Falconets extended their winning run at the 2025 WAFU B U20 Girls Cup with a commanding 3-0 win over hosts Benin Republic on Sunday morning at the Stade Omnisports d’Adjohoun.
Fresh from a 3-1 win over defending champions Ghana, the Falconets showed no signs of fatigue as they controlled the match from start to finish.
Ramotalahi leads the charge
Kareem Ramotalahi was the standout performer, scoring twice before Precious Oscar sealed the win late in stoppage time.
Ramotalahi opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a superb solo finish and added her second on the hour mark after slicing through Benin’s defence. Oscar’s late strike put the result beyond doubt.

Nigeria in control
The win places Nigeria firmly on six points from two matches, ahead of Ghana on three, while Benin remain without a point.
With two dominant performances in as many days, Moses Aduku’s team have established themselves as clear favourites for the title.
The Falconets will next face Ghana again on Tuesday before rounding off the group stage against Benin on Wednesday.
