Gyokeres Scores Twice As Arsenal Thrash Leeds United


Viktor Gyökeres and Jurrien Timber scored two goals each as Arsenal thrashed Leeds United 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium in Saturday’s Premier League game.

The Gunners, who are now top of the league table after winning two of their opening games, have maintained another clean sheet.

Timber broke the deadlock in the 34th minute before Bukayo Saka’s thunderous finish doubled the hosts’ lead on the stroke of halftime.

At the start of the second half, the Gunners wasted no time as summer signing Gyokeres opened his Arsenal account with a fine low finish in the 48th minute.

The Gunners took the game beyond the reach of Leeds United as Timber grabbed his brace in the 56th minute before also netting his second goal in the 95th minute to seal the maximum points.
