Regina Daniels’ brother Sammy remanded in prison, family cries out for help

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy, has been charged to court and remanded in prison until November 28, following a legal case allegedly linked to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.

In a recent post, Sweezzy1, another of Regina’s brothers, shared a video revealing the poor condition Sammy has been subjected to while in police custody.

The video sparked outrage online as he pleaded for public support, saying his brother’s health and safety were at risk.

Sammy Denied Bail, Family Seeks Intervention

According to Sweezzy1, Sammy was denied bail during his court appearance.

He expressed disappointment and urged concerned Nigerians to speak up, insisting that his brother was being unfairly treated.

This comes after Sweezzy1 earlier accused Ned Nwoko of being behind Sammy’s ordeal, despite the businessman’s denial of ever filing a petition against the singer.

Rita Daniels Shares Photo of Sammy in Detention

Adding to the family’s outcry, Rita Daniels, mother of Regina and the detained singer, shared a photo of Sammy in detention.

The image, which quickly went viral, showed Sammy sitting in a dirty room with visible bruises on his arms and body.

Fans Express Outrage and Sympathy

Social media has since been flooded with messages of support for the Daniels family.

Many fans questioned the alleged influence of power and money in Sammy’s case, asking what crime could justify such harsh treatment.
