Happening now: Tinubu swears in 2 new ministers Bernard Doro, Kingsley Udeh


The two newly appointed ministers Benard Doro and Kingsley Udeh have been sworn-in by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The swearing-in which took place inside the council chambers of Presidential Villa, Abuja, happened on Thursday, shortly after the Senate confirmed Udeh from Enugu state.

Udeh replaced former Minister Uche Nnaji, who resigned following allegation that he forged his bachelor’s degree and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.

Nnaji served as Minister of Science and Technology.

Also, Doro from Plateau state replaced Nentawe Yilwatda, who was recently appointed Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Yilwatda, a professor, previously served as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.
