With just 50 days to the kickoff of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has unveiled a specially branded aircraft to celebrate Morocco’s readiness to host Africa’s biggest football festival.

The unveiling ceremony, held on Saturday, symbolised a major milestone in the countdown to the tournament, scheduled to take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

In a statement, the airline said: “Our aircraft proudly displays the colours of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, a symbol of pride, passion, and unity. From the pitch to the sky, Royal Air Maroc carries the spirit of African football.”

To accommodate the anticipated travel surge during the competition, Royal Air Maroc announced plans to operate over 660 additional flights, connecting supporters, players, officials, and journalists across Morocco’s six host cities — Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Marrakech, Agadir, and Fez.

The AFCON-themed aircraft launch is part of the partnership signed in April 2025 between RAM and the Confederation of African Football (CAF), which made the Moroccan national carrier an Official Global Partner of CAF competitions.

The collaboration underscores Royal Air Maroc’s role as a symbol of Moroccan hospitality and a proud promoter of African sports excellence.

As the countdown continues, the airline’s new AFCON-inspired livery serves as a flying emblem of Morocco’s unity, enthusiasm, and readiness to welcome Africa.
