The Adamawa State Government, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has distributed cash grants, vocational kits, and fish farming inputs to 2,500 households in Madagali Local Government Area.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who flagged off the exercise at Gulak Stadium, said the initiative will lift over 10,000 people out of poverty and urged beneficiaries to use the support to improve their livelihoods.
He commended UNDP for its role in post-conflict recovery and called for the expansion of the programme to other affected areas, including Michika, Mubi, Maiha, Gombi, and Hong.

According to ADSEMA Executive Secretary, Dr. Celine Laori, 1,500 households received ₦300,000 each as business grants, 500 got vocational kits, while 250 received fish farming inputs.
Community leaders and beneficiaries praised the government and UNDP for the intervention, describing it as timely and impactful.
