Preparations are in full swing for the 2025/26 CAF Champions League group stage draw, scheduled for November 3 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Nigeria’s flagbearer, Rivers United, has been placed in Pot 3 ahead of the draw, following their hard-fought qualification after defeating Mozambique’s Black Bulls 3–2 on aggregate in the second preliminary round.

With clubs seeded based on recent performances in continental competitions, the Pride of Rivers face the prospect of challenging fixtures against Africa’s top-ranked teams from Pots 1 and 2.
