Over 350 young people from Bauchi state have successfully graduated from the 2025 Innovative and Integrated Agricultural Value Chains Agribusiness Training at CSS Global Integrated Farms in Gora, Nasarawa state.
The two-week training program was designed to equip the youth with modern farming skills and knowledge to drive positive change in agribusiness.
A statement signed by Celestine Toruka, said the Commissioner for Agriculture, Iliyas Aliyu-Gital, who representing the governor of Bauchi state, Senator Bala Mohammed, commended the chairman of CSS Global Integrated Farms, Professor John Kennedy Opara, and his team for delivering high-quality training that would help the Bauchi state youth to drive positive change in agribusiness.
“The training is designed to provide young people with opportunities to learn from experienced leaders through training and mentorship programs in modern farming. I charge you to embrace farming and see agriculture as a major profession that can reduce poverty, raise incomes, improve food security, and boost productivity.”
In his lecture titled: “The Power of Vision,” Professor Opara stated the importance of understanding one’s purpose and having a clear vision.
“Unless one understands what he is created to achieve, his time on earth will be useless. There is no better way to prepare the youth, who are often referred to as leaders of tomorrow, than equipping them with knowledge,” he said.
