Known as the Single Window Trade Facilitation Portal, it acts as a one-stop-shop for international trade.

Importers and exporters can now comply with regulations, submit documents, and obtain permits through a single online system instead of dealing with multiple agencies.

The portal is expected to simplify paperwork, accelerate customs clearance, and reduce delays at ports and borders.

It will also cut bureaucracy, enhance transparency, and improve overall efficiency, strengthening Nigeria’s competitiveness in global markets.

The initiative is led by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment as part of the government’s broader strategy to drive economic growth through technology and policy reform.
