In an Instagram story posted on Monday, West shared a screenshot of a message from a detective identifying herself as Oluseyi from the Nigeria Police Force Area Command in Maitama, Abuja. 

The text requested his appearance at the station for “fact-finding purposes” in connection with an investigation involving “criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, theft, and cyber bullying assault.”The message read: 

“Greetings to you Mr. Sammy Ojeofor… We spoke on your direct line on Friday 24th of October 2025. Just to remind you of the invitation, we are investigating a case… your name featured prominently. I am by this text message inviting you to come to the office today being Monday 27th October 2025 by 3pm… On your arrival report to the Area Crime Officer or ask for me.”West reacted sharply, writing: 

“Is this how police invite? Is that charge for me?” 

He also pointed out that the detective used an incorrect name “Sammy Ojeofor” raising doubts about the message’s authenticity.

The invitation comes amid a heated family dispute that erupted after a viral video showed Regina Daniels accusing her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of domestic violence. 

In the aftermath, Sammy West went public with strong allegations, claiming Nwoko physically assaulted his sister and sent thugs to intimidate their family.

The police summons appears linked to these public accusations, with West’s name reportedly flagged in complaints likely filed by Nwoko’s camp.

Neither the Nigeria Police Force nor Ned Nwoko has issued an official response to the escalating controversy as of press time.
