Leeds United new signing Noah Okafor says he’s prepared for the new challenge at the club.

Recall that Okafor joined the newly promoted Premier League club on a four-year deal from Italian side AC Milan for a fee of £18M.

The forward, who can play both on the wing and in a central striker role, is the ninth summer signing since winning the Championship last season.

Speaking with the club’s website, Okafor stated that it’s a dream come true to be playing in the Premier League.

“I think it’s an amazing day, I’m really excited.

“As a kid, I dreamed of playing in the Premier League. That’s why for me it was quite an easy decision.

“So I said, yeah, my football suits the Premier League, this is like a dream come true. I can’t wait to step on the field.

“I heard that the Premier League is the best league in the world, it’s so intense. I have loads of friends that played there or are playing there.

“I’m really, really excited. I can’t wait, like I said before. I’m also ready for this new challenge.”
