Liverpool striker Hugo Ekitike has disclosed that Nigerian rapper Asake remains one of his favourite music artistes.

In a recent interview with ESPN UK, the French striker was asked to name the musicians he enjoys listening to the most.

Ekitike mentioned Asake, alongside American rappers Gunna and NBA YoungBoy.

“Gunna, Asake and NBA YoungBoy are the best three artistes I love to listen to,” the 22-year-old said.

The 22-year-old also shared his admiration for football greats, naming Thierry Henry, Didier Drogba, and Mohamed Salah as his all-time favourite players.

Ekitike, who joined Liverpool earlier this year, is regarded as one of Europe’s promising young forwards.
