Precious Adaeze, the chief executive officer at Precious Adaeze Global Limited, a business she started in 2021 with almost zero income, but for her skills.
“I started with almost nothing. My very first investment was less than N50,000, which I raised through personal savings and small freelance jobs.
“Instead of waiting for huge capital, I leveraged free and affordable tools to start, when I started promoting a digital product and landed over N30 million,” she explained.
Adaeze utilises technology to bridge the skills gap between individuals with high-income-earning potential in a world where financial independence is crucial to empowerment.
As a passionate digital entrepreneur, she equips individuals with in-demand digital skills, helping them break free from financial limitations by navigating legitimate income opportunities online.
The University of Benin, Theatre Arts graduate had curiosity and financial independence drive led her into the digital economy, where she is creating opportunities for others to thrive.
“My inspiration came from observing the financial struggles of young people and women around me. Many had the potential but lacked access to legitimate online opportunities.
“I wanted to bridge that gap, and the ability to earn globally, travel, and live life on my terms. Those two desires gave birth to my business,” she said.
The flagship of her programme, “The Ghostwriting Mastery Vault Course”, she said, teaches ghostwriting and digital entrepreneurship, helping individuals build high-income skills and earn in foreign currencies.
Moreover, she designs online courses, runs ad campaigns, and builds landing pages; she helps individuals navigate legitimate income opportunities online.
The business’s niche over others, she said, lies in not just making sales, but in impact and sustainability.
“I started from scratch and built systems, from designing landing pages to running ads. I focus on practical mentorship, not just theory; my students get results quickly.
“I blend organic growth with paid strategies, making it accessible for beginners, and position women and stay-at-home mothers at the centre, giving them a platform to build financial freedom,” she said.
She said the approach has helped the business grow exponentially, from the launch to recording over 500 sales in less than a month, and making at least 10 sales daily, besides traveling to Ghana, Dubai, Lebanon, and Qatar fully sponsored by the firm.
“Beyond revenue, I am proud that I have impacted over 1,000 individuals, helping them earn in foreign currencies. I have also received recognition awards in companies I have partnered with, such as Eaconomy and other online notable platforms for my work in empowering women and young Nigerians,” Adaeze emphasised.
Though Nigeria’s digital economy is booming, Adaeze emphasised that many still lack awareness of how to tap into it.
“The opportunities lie in digital education, high-income skill training, and cross-border freelancing. With the right mentorship and exposure, Nigerians can compete globally and build businesses beyond local limitations,” she noted.
She explained that the business adopted a diversification strategy to survive the accelerating inflation.
“Instead of relying only on the Nigerian market, I positioned my business globally. I priced my courses in USD and expanded my reach through social media and international platforms.
“This way, while inflation affects the local economy, the business income streams are stabilised by foreign earnings. I plan to expand my digital academy, scaling from ghostwriting into other in-demand skills like copywriting, digital marketing, and personal branding,” she said.
In addition, she said, the firm plans to host workshops across Africa, beginning with Ghana, to empower more young people with the right skills.
Speaking on the notable challenges faced by the business, she said that skepticism from people who didn’t believe online business was legitimate, limited resources at the beginning, and the challenge of building trust and brand credibility in a competitive digital market have been tasks.
And to navigate these challenges, explained that she remained consistent and focused on results.
“Every successful student and every milestone became proof that what I do is real. I also invested in learning, partnerships, and self-development to sharpen my skills and stay ahead in the market,” she noted.
Adaeze enjoins young entrepreneurs to start with what they have and not to wait for perfect conditions.
